Pokemon Leaf Green (counterpart to Fire Red) is the remake of the original Pokemon Green in Japan, or Pokemon Blue in the rest of the world. It features various updates made to the Pokemon series since the original games, including Steel and Dark types, Pokemon Abilities and Natures, new moves and lots more. It’s familiar enough for those who have only played Red and Blue, and modern enough to appeal to someone playing an earlier generation of Pokemon for the first time!
Unlike other Pokemon cartridges, Fire Red and Leaf Green do not use an internal battery either to store save data or track the passage of time, so no need to worry about soldering a new battery or losing your progress!
